Night of the Living SCUFF – April 2019

This April, SCUM is paying tribute to one of the Masters of Horror, Tobe Hooper!

We will be screening two of his unforgettable classics, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist, which also happened to be the two films that gave us sleepless nights for weeks when we were little, innocent children. Though we are not so little and not so innocent anymore, we still stay awake at night when we see Leatherface starting up his chainsaw…

Texas Chainsaw is one of the earliest films to market itself as a “true story” and using the “found footage” aesthetics to heighten the terror in the audience’s minds. Meanwhile, Poltergeist is rumoured to be ‘cursed’, with many of the cast members suffering accidents and even death…

Be brave, people.
Film & ticket details are found here.

Please take note both films will screen simultaneously at 7:45pm, this is not a back-to-back screening.
