A young student, San Te (Gordon Liu), is drawn into a local rebellion against the Manchu government. Government officials brutally suppress the uprising and San Te decides to seek vengeance. Wounded during the attack, San Te flees to Shaolin temple and seeks training in kungfu.

Mayhem ensues as Yan Tieh discovers that some of these ‘Five Deadly Venoms’ are indeed evil.
